Losing and increasing weight is both a difficult task. Talking about weight loss, we cut fat foods from our diet and insist on including protein in the diet. People are prone to losing weight so much that they start consuming more protein. But you know that excessive use of anything can prove more harmful than beneficial for you.

Consuming too much protein is harmful.

Bad breath

If you consume more protein then your breath starts to smell, especially when you stop consuming carbohydrates. Your body goes into a metabolism called ketosis, which produces chemicals, which cause bad breath in your breath. To get rid of this odor, you can consume plenty of water, brush several times or chew the chewing gum.

May cause diarrhea

Using too much dairy or processed food and lack of fiber can cause diarrhea. To avoid diarrhea, drink plenty of water, avoid caffeinated beverages, eat limited amounts of fried foods and excess fat. Increase the intake of fiber in your food.

Heart patient

Excessive consumption of red meat and dairy products can also put your heart at risk. A high protein diet is harmful to your heart health.

Constipation

A high protein and low carb diet also mean a low intake of fiber. This nutrient passes through the body which keeps your digestive system clean and healthy and makes bowel movement easier. Reducing fiber intake can cause digestive problems and constipation. If you are also struggling with this problem, then eat more fiber and water.

Brain Fogging:

Brain fogging or dizziness is another common sign in people who consume high amounts of protein. To eat more protein, you must reduce the carb intake to maintain your calorie count. Low carb means that your brain gets less sugar, due to which it actually shrinks, making you feel foggy.

gaining weight

A high-protein diet can certainly reduce your weight, but it can only happen for a short time. Excess protein intake is usually stored as fat in the body, while excess amino acids are excreted from the body via feces. This can cause weight gain over time, especially when you consume too many calories while trying to increase your protein intake.

Cancer risk

Several studies have shown that people use too much red meat or process food to use too much protein, which can harm health in many ways. Its excessive use can cause breast and prostate cancer.
