An object resembling a Yarchagumba has been found in Palpa.

A Yarchagumba-like object has been found in the Rimigha forest area of ​​Pipaldanda, Rambha Rural Municipality-3, Palpa. The public has been barred from entering the Rimigha forest area as the objects found are undergoing laboratory testing, as stated in the public notice issued by the municipality.

An object that looks like Yarchagumba was found in the forest area of ​​Pospakha Community Forest while digging a hole. Since the laboratory testing of the object is ongoing, a public notice has been issued to not enter the forest area until further notice. Chief Administrative Officer Bir Bahadur Pun said that if anyone is found entering the forest area in violation of the public notice, action will be taken as per the prevailing law.

An object that looks like Yarchagumba was found in the Kholsi and Chisyan areas of the forest area. Rural Municipality Chairman Bishnu Prasad Bhandari said that such species were found while digging a hole while preparing to plant orange seedlings in the community forest area after clearing the bushes in Rimigha Lake. Division Forest Office has sent the samples to the National Forensic Science Laboratory, Khumaltar, Lalitpur for verification, informed Division Forest Chief Narayan Dev Bhattarai. He said that the samples have been sent to Lalitpur after giving a letter and sample to the Rambha Rural Municipality staff.

‘The yarcha found in the forest area has been sent to the laboratory for testing,’ he said. He said that what is it will be confirmed only after the laboratory report comes. Rimigha Lake is at an altitude of 1,800 meters. ‘When you see it now, it looks like yarcha,’ said Division Forest Officer Bhattarai, ‘We will finally know what it is after the laboratory report comes.’

The underground part of the yarcha is 4 millimeters thick and 4 centimeters long. The upper part is thin and 5-6 centimeters long. He said that although the species does not differ according to height, it is the same and the size and color of the yarcha, so it was sent for research.
