The US attack did not completely destroy Iran's nuclear program, it has been reported. CNN reported that a confidential report from the Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Department of Defense, stated that Iran's nuclear program was not completely destroyed.

While the war between Israel and Iran was ongoing, the US dropped bunker buster bombs on Iran's Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities last Saturday. The GBU-57 'bunker-buster' bomb, which is considered effective in destroying underground structures, can penetrate up to 61 meters and explode.

Satellite images released by the US after the attack show six deep craters near two locations at the Fordow site, but it is not clear how much of the interior was destroyed. However, the top US military official, General Dan Kane, said that all three of Iran's nuclear facilities were seriously damaged by the attack.
