DCGI Approves Use of Two Corona Vaccines.


The wait for the corona vaccine in the country is over now. The Drug Controller of India (DCGI) has approved the emergency use of two Corona vaccines in India. The Drug Controller of India (DCGI) has approved the emergency use of Vaccine Kovishield, developed by the Serum Institute of India and the indigenous Bharat Biotech Vaccine Kovaxin. The Corona vaccine had been waiting for a long time in the wake of the fight against the Corona epidemic. The wait is over now.

Earlier, the Subject Expert Committee (CEC), which recommended the use of the Corona vaccine in the country, had approved the emergency use of two vaccines with certain conditions.

Let us know that Oxford University-AstraZeneca is producing the Vaccine vaccine in India under the name Serum Institute Kovishield. On the other hand, indigenous vaccine covaccine has been developed by Bharat Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). After getting approval from DCGI, the Corona vaccine will start being used in the country.

The central government is strongly involved in the preparation for corona vaccination. In view of this, a dry run of vaccines was organized in every state and union territory of the country on Saturday. During this time, vaccination preparations were tested. During the mock drill conducted in all states and union territories across the country, the central government stated that around 1,14,100 vaccines were trained in 286 sessions.
